WHAT IF I WANT TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION BUT CAN'T USE GOOGLE FORMS?

CAN I APPLY TO THE WORKROOM COOPERATIVE WITH COLLABORATORS OR OTHER INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS?
Yes, we are accepting applications from pairs or small groups of artists who want to 'share a share', so to speak. Please note that a representative of the group will need to attend co-op meetings and all members must participate in trainings and orientations. All share holders will be held equally responsible for care of the space and following of all protocols. We will also provide only one key per share, so use will have to be coordinated within the group. Payment for the share will need to come from a single account.
WHAT IS THE SIZE AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE WORKROOM?
The Workroom is a 48' x 71' unobstructed space on the lower level of 33 Hawley. At the completion of the current phase of renovation, the Workroom will have a fully sprung floor covered by painted hardboard, fully insulated walls with installed acoustical panels on 3 of the walls, and a steel catwalk above the majority of the space. The Workroom is adjacent to a newly built green room with small kitchen and 2 dressing rooms. These spaces are shared by all building partners.

WHAT EQUIPMENT/RESOURCES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ME IN THE WORKROOM?
A full inventory of what will be available in the Workroom is still being developed and procured. Shareholders will have access to 90 chairs (50 folding, 40 stacking), 3 small seating risers, one video projector, and (at the bare minimum) 2 powered speakers and mixing board; small assortment of lights with a lighting control console.
IF I CAN'T USE ALL OF MY SHARE TIME, CAN I RENT IT TO SOMEBODY ELSE?
No. We are asking that all shareholders refrain from 'subletting' use of the Workroom to anyone else. Central to the concept of the Workroom Cooperative is the notion of sharing the care and stewardship of the space, with all shareholders holding direct responsibility for the use of the space and its equipment. We feel that subletting starts to dilute this sense of stewardship and makes it difficult to track our shared accountability for the space.
HOW WILL I SUBMIT PAYMENT FOR MY SHARE(S)?
We will be accepting share payments annually, biannually (January and July), or monthly via check or Venmo. First (or total) payment will need to be made at the beginning of January 2024. All shares will be contracted for the entirety of 2024 with the intention that all shareholders are buying in for the full year.
