Virtual Tours
A.P.E. introduces Virtual Tours & Videos by filmmaker Nick Verdi
As part of its mission to bring the high quality work of local and regional artists to the public and to make this work available through different platforms, A.P.E. has engaged filmmaker Nick Verdi (HCC/Hampshire College graduate) to create short, informational and creative virtual tours of its exhibitions and projects beginning in the Fall of 2020 during the height of the pandemic. This also created a safe way for the public to view these exhibitions during the height of the pandemic. Nick has secured a Northampton Arts Council grant to continue to produce this series, called the Northampton Arts Archive, through the spring and summer of 2021. This archiving project not only produces a current record of the arts community but provides a virtual platform that expands access across generations. A.P.E. will make these videos available on its website and social media platforms and Forbes Library will create access to them as well. For more information, contact Nick Verdi at [email protected]
