In celebration of all the artists who have brought their energy to our spaces, A.P.E. is bringing back our special small works show: MICROWORKS! This exhibition will feature artists who have shown their work at any A.P.E. location over the past 46 years and will serve as a fundraiser for A.P.E.’s Guest Curator and ARC programs, both of which bring new artists, ideas, and inquiries to the gallery.
Have you shown work with A.P.E.?
Please read the following information and join us for this landmark show.
The exhibit will run from December 8 – 22, 2023.
A salon style, cash & carry show, this exhibit will consist of works no larger than 6”x 6”x 6”.
All works will be given to the buyer upon purchase.
All artists are heartily invited (dare we say encouraged) to attend a celebratory reception on December 8, from 5-8pm.
Artists will be paid at the conclusion of the show and
A.P.E. requires a 30% commission from all sales made.
Artists can submit 1 work for the show.
Since this is a fundraiser, we encourage artists to price their work to sell and suggest that you not submit work that costs more than $500.

about the gallery
Founded in 1977 by and for artists, A.P.E. has existed for more than three decades as a space for artists, educators and writers working in all media to share, explore and create their work. A.P.E. is committed to preserving "working space" for the arts in the center of town, easily accessible to artist and audience alike, and to supporting the development of challenging, experimental and notable work, both within and outside the mainstream. In 2007, A.P.E. moved to its current home at 126 Main Street. From this street-level location it continues to carry out its mission to make arts and artists a more visible and vital part of the Northampton community.
