Joe Shepard writes, "I currently live and work in Northampton, I moved here 7 years ago from Brooklyn NY. I have a home studio where I make paintings, drawings, collages and pottery. I don't really have a favorite medium to work with, I just try to incorporate a little something of each in every piece. This current painting is part of a series I made using big blocks of color and shapes in a more simple illustrative style."
