The Missoula Oblongata presents their third full-scale touring production, The Moon, The Raccoon, The Hot Air Balloon.  As always, the company has created their own homemade lighting system—run from the stage by the performers, as well as an interactive set made of junk.

The Moon, The Raccoon, The Hot Air Balloon is an hour-long play by The Missoula Oblongata. It concerns an obese raccoon, her trainer, and an allegedly Panamanian magician whose lives all collide at The World’s Fair.  Unlike the company’s other touring shows, this production was written and built specifically to be performed in spaces that would otherwise be too small for the company to perform in. This allows us to bring our visually and intellectually ambitious work to an even greater variety of spaces while maintaining the theatrical inventiveness and experimental extravagance we’ve become known for.
